Dr. Tarra Elliott has been practising dentistry in the Greater Toronto Area for more than 20 years and has led Eglinton Way Dentistry since 2011.

She believes good dentistry begins with understanding the individual patient. That means looking beyond a single tooth or procedure and considering oral health, function, appearance, comfort and the patient's own priorities.

Over two decades of GTA Dental Experience

Before taking over Eglinton Way Dentistry, Dr. Elliott worked in both a family-focused dental practice in Unionville and a cosmetic practice in Yorkville.

Those different environments helped shape the broad approach she brings to Eglinton Way Dentistry today, where her work includes preventive care, restorative dentistry, cosmetic treatment, Invisalign, dental implants and modern restorative technologies.

Dental Implants and Restorative Dentistry

Dr. Elliott has completed training in Nobel Biocare implant dentistry and uses dental implants in a range of tooth replacement situations.

Implants may be used to replace a single missing tooth, support a dental bridge or improve the stability of a denture.

Invisalign Clear Aligner Treatment

Dr. Elliott is an official Invisalign Gold Plus Preferred Provider in Toronto.

Invisalign treatment uses custom-made clear aligners to gradually move teeth without traditional metal braces. Dr. Elliott uses digital scanning and treatment planning to determine whether Invisalign is appropriate for each patient.

Modern Dental Technology

Technology available at Eglinton Way Dentistry includes:

• digital dental X-rays

• digital scanning

• Invisalign treatment planning

• contemporary dental implant systems

• professional Philips Zoom whitening

Dr. Elliott continues to pursue education in emerging dental techniques and technologies so that patients can consider both established and newer approaches to treatment.

Education

Dr. Elliott attended Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with distinction before entering Dalhousie's Faculty of Dentistry.

Toronto's Top Dentists

Dr. Elliott has been voted among Toronto's Top Dentists by readers of Post City Magazine.
